Did you Know ? Emperor Penguin The deepest diving bird in the world is Emperor Penguin. These Penguins can dive a depth of 1,800 feet (550 meters) and hold their breath for upto 22 minutes. Emperors are the largest of all Penguins. It is the only animal to inhabit the open ice of Antarctica during winter. Their Life span about 20 years,but some individuals may live upto 50 years of age. The life cycle of an Emperor penguin shown as a picture here from January to December. Really an awsome bird but now a days they are consider near threatened due to HUMAN ACTIVITY. Rising Temperature due to Global warming will reduce their Breeding grounds and overfishing will limit their source of food.
